How to ship fast-Shitty first draft framework
This will 200% help you ship (be it writing, design, or anything) faster in edition 32nd
SFD (shitty first draft): A framework to ship faster: It's a Powerful Approach to Avoid Perfection. I’ve found this insight to be constructive in my own writing.
It removes the pressure to get everything right on the first try and makes it much easier to start. Start first and optimize later — not the other way around. Always begin with a shitty first draft; everything will fall into place over time.
Three simple steps to make it actionable for you:
Start with bad, then iterate to great
Making something terrible and then iterating until it’s sound is way faster than making something good up front.
Remember, it's about progress than perfection.
1:1 with my subscribers :)
I'm thrilled to open my network to my newsletter subscribers.
And I think the best way to connect with new people is 1:1s.
So I’m offering a free 1:1 for the first 5 people who reply to this email.
If you want to get it on a 1:1 with me, reply to the email, and I’ll send you the booking link. I can help you with design consultation, portfolio feedback, design mentoring, and career guidance. (Read here what some of my ex-students say about me).
